Yealmpton to Cornwood and return by scenic route

Yealmpton to Cornwood via Sparkwell and home via Ivybridge by a scenic route in the South Hams 20 mile return trip. Adults only on this ride We will comply with all Covid 19 regulations including social distancing at all times Please either cancel your place or do not attend if you or any of your close contacts have either tested positive for Covid 19 or are showing any symptoms of Covid 19 as described on the UK Government Website The ride will start from the Rose and Crown Yealmpton car park. There is free parking The route is comprised of lovely country lanes mostly with a stop at Cornwood The majority of the ride will be on country lanes with some traffic but you must be confident riding on roads. This route is undulating in places with several quite steep climbs. The entire route is on road although they are mostly quiet ones. A road bike, electric bike or hybrid bike are suitable for the route We will stop half way round for refreshments so bring a drink and a snack and we will stop at the bottom and top of the hills to make sure we are all together. The option of having something to eat and drink at the Rose and Crown at the end of the ride is there for those who wish so bring some money with you. Please make sure you bring with you: *fully checked and working bike (hybrid, road, e-bikes are welcome) *spare inner tube pump and tools to remove a tyre * A helmet is a must on this ride * Appropriate clothing for the weather * Any necessary medication We will travel at an easy pace and will never leave anyone behind so come and join us, looking forward to see you on the ride. I am a fair weather cyclist and will not subject you to a ride in foreseen poor weather and will amend or cancel the ride if necessary
