Yatton Station car park Yatton Railway Station Station Approach Yatton (South side/platform 1).

We’ll be riding out from Yatton on a circular route, with a long climb up through Brockley Combe to Bristol Airport – it’s a lovely, scenic route, with a big hill in the middle. We’ll stop at The Station cafe in Yatton at the end of our ride, for a warming drink or bite to eat. This ride is ideal for the average cyclist that can whizz along on the flat at approx. 15mph, up hills at 10mph and downhills at 25mph. Road / Racing bikes recommended. The ride is 14 miles and we have allowed 1 hour. Newcomers are always very welcome, but if you've never ridden with us before, I suggest you contact the local Champion beforehand to check that the ride is suitable. Emma Ruffle, Tel 07718 376168 [email protected] https://www.facebook.com/bikeridesforwomensomerset/ We’ll look forward to seeing you on our ride! Route description: Yatton, Claverham, Chelvey, Brockley, Tall Pines golf course, Bristol Airport runway (great for airoplane spotters), Redhill, Wrington, back through Yatton to the station.
