Wylam - Newburn Riverside - Wylam

This ride is perfect for beginners or if you've not been on your bike for a while. After meeting in the car park at Wylam, we'll cycle along the wagonway to Newburn and then a little further, almost to Newburn Riverside Industial Estate. Then we'll head back to Wylam. We will finish off with a cafe stop in Wylam to get warmed up and plan our next ride. The whole route is about 9 miles but it's almost totally flat. This will be a leisurely, social ride and we'll always go at the pace of the slowest rider. If possible bring a spare inner tube and a bike lock. If it's snowing or very icy the ride will be cancelled but otherwise wrap up warm! We can always cut the ride a little short if the weather is nasty.
