Come and join Sandra, Liz, Charlotte and Sally on a Breeze off-road blue gravel/MTB route of approx. 20 miles, along old railway lines, main forest tracks, canal paths and quiet country lanes (Heightington fete is on from 12-4pm so there may be more traffic than usual but bring some change if you fancy taking part in the activities or enjoying some home-made cake).
There are no technical sections to this route, but it will be ideal if you have a bike with slightly thicker tyres suitable for road as well as off-road riding. Gravel bikes will glide effortlessly up the inclines, so some regrouping will be necessary at times.
Set off at 10am on Saturday 22nd August from Hartlebury Castle, Kidderminster car park (DY11 7XZ) where we will return for refreshments. The Wyre Forest Visitors Centre after 10 miles, also has facilities. Bring spare inner tube, tools and a drink etc.
This Women on Wheels 2026 (MEMBERS ONLY) ride is open for anyone to join
