Starting at Go Ape, Rivington . Parking and toilets available. Please arrive 10 minutes before the start of the ride for a bike safety check and ride briefing. After leaving Rivington we head towards Cowling on the road ,we will join the canal until Botany Bay. Then its off towards Buckshaw village and Leyland mainly using the shared paths. Once in Leyland we will make our way to Worden park. The route home starts off through the park then via a woodland trail to the road. We then head for Astley village and a ride through Astley Park before making our way through Chorley town centre .From here we take a mixture of shared paths and road until we re join the canal towpath at Fredricks . Leaving the canal at Adlington we then head back to Rivington .

This is a varied route using different terrain including roads, canal towpath, shared paths and woodland trails.

We will have a cafe stop in Worden Park. A table has been booked in the cafe for the group but for those who prefer to sit outside there is plenty of seating.

Helmets must be worn on this ride. Please bring a spare inner tube and tire levers for your bike and a bike pump. Bring a snack and something to drink. Keep an eye on the weather forecast and dress appropriately.
