Worden to Astley Park explorer ride.

This will be a great little get together with a few regular riders and some new joining us.
The route is an easy going saunter from the understated Worden park to the grand and historic Astley park (with a brilliant cafe).
We will cover 4/5 miles on the way out and return.

This is a comfortable yet slightly testing route from the wonderful Worden park on to historic Astley park. It is a social ride bringing together some of our regular community riders. We will pass through Buckshaw village and can take our pick of the tracks and trails within.

We are mainly off road on the super cycle infrastructure. there is a small section of road riding as we start the route and right at the end, a ride leader will manage this.

Normally we would stop at the newly refurbished cafe at Astley park. There is an option of Buckshaw if we change our mind.

Helmets are strongly recommended and please bring weather appropriate clothing. A drink and a small amount of cash.
