This is a leisurely paced guided ride from Worden to Astley Park suited for adult beginners. The route takes a short section of residential road before joining a cycle path through Buckshaw Village to Astley Park. We will stop as needed, and take a rest break at the cafe in Astley Park.
All cyclist must wear a helmet.
Allow 2-3 hour for total ride
Remember: water bottle, bike lock,
Dress for the weather. Check brakes and tyres, puncture repair/spare tube, money for café.
If you can't fix your bike on route, consider how you would get home. Cash/card payment for café if you want to to get a drink or food.
Worden Park car park is normally no charge at weekends, but always check sign for any updates.
