Starting from The Border Ice Rink Carpark, settting off past Springwood, up the hills to the turning for Roxburgh, but rather than go through Roxburgh we will turn off and cycle along to Fairnington, turn left at the junction then down the big hill to Woodside. We’ll Return via Nisbet and Roxburgh to Kelso.

A nice wee stretch of the legs to see some pretty autumn colours.

A few stretches on main roads but where we can we will be on minor back roads.

Ride leaders will explain stops during ride briefing, but we tend to stop at junctions, tops of hills, where safe to do so, photo opportunities, nose blow stops, grab drink stops etc....

Helmets must be worn, we ask you to dress appropriately for the weather, knowing that Scotland doesnt always follow what the season should be so layers are always good, and a windproof/waterproof jacket. We ask you to carry an inner tube for your bike and we can all help to repair a a puncture. We always suggest you have a drinks bottle with you, of water/juice to keep you hydrated. Plus monies and a phone.

We especially welcome newbies!
