Starting from The Border Ice Rink Carpark, settting off past Springwood, up the hills to the turning for Roxburgh, but rather than go through Roxburgh we will turn off and cycle along to Fairnington, turn left at the junction then down the big hill to Woodside. We’ll Return via Nisbet and Roxburgh to Kelso.

It’s Kelso Civic Week so for those that prefer to ride a bike, this is for you!!

We I’ll mainly travel on quieter back roads, with some busier roads to get to them.

We will be visiting the Birdhouse Tearooms at Woodside as well as stops in the way for water & adjusting clothing.

Helmets must be worn, we ask you to dress appropriately for the weather, knowing that Scotland doesn't always follow what the season should be, so layers are always good, and a windproof/waterproof jacket and if the sun is shining g, put on a layer of sunscreen. We ask you to carry an inner tube for your bike and we can all help to repair a a puncture. We always suggest you have a drinks bottle with you, of water/juice to keep you hydrated. Plus monies and a phone.

We never leave anyone behind
