Woodhouse

Come along and join us on this lovely route starting at the Woodhouse Moor Park in front of the statue of Queen Victoria.  The route takes in some of the spectacular scenery along the Meanwood Valley before passing the Meanwood Valley Urban Farm, Cafe & Gift shop. Using the ‘Alwoodley to City Centre’ cycle route we will continue on this 10 mile circular route and head out towards  Alwoodley before then turning off the A-CC to head onto Meanwood and Headingley.  We will pick up sections of the ‘West Park to City Centre’ cycle route as we pass through Headingley on the way back to Woodhouse Moor Park. This route takes in sections of the Leeds City Cycle Network for plenty of traffic free riding, interspersed with some road riding to help build your confidence whilst in good company. If you’re fairly confident on your bike and ready to broaden your cycling horizons, our Steady rides are ideal. At a comfortable pace, and possibly with some modest hills along the way, rides take place on mainly quiet roads with plenty of sights along the way. Rides are between 6 and 20 miles long, at a moderate pace of between 7 and 10 miles an hour.
