Women's Day Ride

Leisurely bike ride open to everyone to celebrate International Women's Day (which is actually on the 8th but we thought a weekend ride might be nicer!). Meeting by the animals in the middle of Victoria Park. Visiting homes and locations of famous women associated with our fine city. Ride at the pace of the slowest, men and children and cargo bikes welcome. Coffee and cake stop on the way (location TBC). We'd love to see you there, no need to book but an indication of numbers would be welcomed to make sure we have enough ride leaders. For extra info, the ride will be about 13 miles total, slow pace and we'll stop about half way around for tea and cake. We'll also stop at the key locations for some info on each of the women. The route is a mix of quiet roads, shared used paths and some busier roads (in bus lanes where we can), almost all within Southsea and including the seafront cycle route.
