Travel down to Giltbrook and join the canal and continue to Nottingham canal through Cossall, Trowell then on to Bramcote through Balloon Woods and Wollaton vale road and enter Wollaton Hall grounds, have a ride around the lake and up to the big house and stable yard café, where it should be warm enough to sit out ! Return via similar route
The route will follow a network of minor roads, canal paths and trials to Dale Abbey.
Majority traffic free with some B roads to link up a network of minor roads, canal paths and trials

Extra warm clothing, helmet and waterproof. Spare inner tube and repair kit. Money and Mobile!
