Witton Park Breeze

We will cycle one lap around the Witton Park cycle path, then proceed up Tower Rd towards Pleasington Cemetery then take a left turn on Old Hall Ln towards Pleasington Priory and return once we reach the main road. Note the “Ride Start Time” is 10:30am; but please arrive 15 minutes early as we will always do a cycle and clothing check prior to setting off on the ride. We ride at a pace to suit the group and won't leave anyone behind. Don't be put off if you feel a bit nervous or rusty, we've all been there! We advise you to dress and be prepared to suit the weather on the day, especially waterproofs or extra layers for adverse weather. Its always a good idea to bring a drink, although there will be a coffee stop during or after the ride so bring some money if you want to buy drinks, snacks etc. Helmets are not compulsory but we advise if you have one to bring it with you. Its always a good idea to bring a spare inner tube / repair kit / pump. The ride can be done on a road bike, however some sections are more suited to Hybrids and Mountain Bikes. As with all Breeze rides, we will ride to the pace of the slowest rider and regroup or stop at any point on the ride. Please come and join me on my my first Breeze Ride as a Ride Leader!!
