Winter Ride to Newbald and The Gallery

The plan is to go via Ellerker, South Cave and Hotham to Newbald. If anyone wants to join us en route, just say. The route is up Walkington Heads, down into Walkington for our cafe stop at The Gallery . We won't be going fast up the hills. Anyone who wants to can wait for us at the top. It'll be cold so pre-warming socks, shoes and gloves is recommended.

It'd be good if you can check your bike before coming and bring:
- comfy clothes (layers are good for flexibility) including gloves and a waterproof if rain looks possible
- your helmet
- pump, inner tube and crossed fingers that they won't be needed!
- drink and snack (it's a good idea to refuel if the refreshment stop is near the end of the ride)
- money for refreshments
-bike lock if you have one
- lights are good, particularly in dull weather
