WINDSOR TO VELOLIFE WARGRAVE

A scenic route from Windsor to Velolife Wargrave
Starting from Imperial Park, the route will start along the Thames crossing at Bray and to Fifield where we will follow Bridleways towards Maidenhead and Ockwells Park area. We will follow an on and off road route through Burchetts Green and Warren Row to Wargrave Marina where we will have a short stop for coffee. We will follow a route back from Wargrave, through Hare Hatch, Waltham St Lawrence and Paley Street, back to Windsor
The route is a mixture of quiet roads and bridleways where possible with a few busier towards our coffee stop and towards the last part of our ride back to Windsor. There are a few short gentle climbs, mainly on the first half of our ride, so no rush please take at your own pace and we will re-group at the top.

A slightly longer ride on a mixture of quiet roads and bridleways taking advantage of the late summer conditions to visit Velolife in Wargrave on the banks of the river Thames

Suitable for hybrid and mountain bikes with a mixture of quiet roads, and bridleways, and a few gentle climbs to Wargrave Velolife. Our return will be mainly on quieter roads and bridleways with some busier sections as we come back into Windsor

We will have a short stop at the Velolife Café at the marina in Wargrave for refreshment, so please bring money or card if you wish to join us.

Helmets are advisable. Please wear appropriate clothing for the weather and carry a drink and snack to sustain you during the ride. Bring a bike lock for our stop and please carry a spare inner tube to fit your bike
