Starting point

TW20 0XU

Bishopsgate Entrance

A 23 mile scenic ride through the Great Park over to Windsor, over the bridge to Eton and along past the common to Dorney lake. A stop for coffee at Dorney Court before a loop of the rowing lake and then back along the river to return to Windsor. Across the bridge, along the riverside and then back through the Great Park to return. A mixed route, with lots of nice traffic free bits but also taking in a stretch along a busier road, and mixed terrain. The river path can be a bit bumpy, so best suited to hybrid or off road cycle types. A few gentle slopes in the park, but very flat once into Windsor. The starting point is the Bishopsgate entrance, just up from the Fox and Hound pub in Englefield green. There is ample free car parking along Bishopsgate road. I'll be there from 9.45 ready for a prompt departure. The weather is forcast for sun, so should be a lovely dry ride. Please do bring a spare inner tube, and money for the cafe stop.
