Windsor

This scenic and challenging route takes you south out of Windsor towards the famous Ascot Racecourse, through some idyllic East Berkshire villages along some minor roads and back to the River Thames. You will cross the Thames over the wooden cycle bridge near Bray Lake, where you will then wind our way along the Eton Dorney Lake (scene of some wonderful Olympic rowing and kayaking events).

From here you use National Cycle Route 4, taking you through some meadow land along the Thames where you will enjoy some wonderful views of the both the River and Windsor Castle. You will then cross back from Eton into Windsor before completing the ride.
