Winchester Breeze via Brambridge to the White Horse

We will start at Wolvesey Palace and head out of Winchester via the cycle path along the river and on to Twyford. From there we will ride towards Owslebury, along Hensting Lane to Fisher's Pond, Brambridge and Kiln Lane, stopping for coffee at the White Horse in Otterbourne, before returning to Winchester via Poles Lane and Oliver's Battery.

There are a couple of hills and busy roads, but the ride is mostly on quiet country lanes. The ride is ideal for anyone wanting to try something a bit longer.

Please NOTE: Current guidance due to Covid19 means we will still be riding differently from a usual Breeze ride. We will still observe 2m social distance at all times cycling and at stops in accordance with current government guidance. The ride leader will brief you before the ride. Please do not come if you are feeling unwell or have been asked to self isolate by NHS test and trace.

Things to bring:
- Helmet.
- Mask, disposable gloves and hand sanitiser.
- Lights for your bike - in case it's dull
- Suitable clothing for the weather and hi-vis if possible.
- A drink and snack if you think you need one
- Money / credit card for cafe stop.
- A spare inner tube, tyre levers and pump just in case of a puncture.
(We can advise but not physically assist).

Do check that your bike is roadworthy and your tyres are pumped up!
