Starting point

Hampshire
SO23 8DX

We will ride out of Winchester along the cycle path through Winnall and out to Easton. Looping around Avington and Itchen Abbas we will return to Easton and stop for refreshments after 7 miles at The Chestnut Horse in Easton. We will return via The Alresford Rd and enjoy a lovely downhill back to the city and our start point.

This is a scenic cycle through the Hampshire countryside - There are some stretches of main road but mostly quiet roads and country lanes. Inevitably there are hills but we will cycle at an easy pace and no one will be left behind.

You need a cycling helmet and roadworthy bike with tyres pumped please. The ride is suitable for everyone who has joined our easy rides and wants to extend their cycling range, get used to being in more traffic, or just someone who wants to enjoy riding in a group.

Please remember to cancel your place with as much notice as possible if you are unable to attend, as places are limited.

Things to bring:
- A well fitting cycling helmet
- Suitable clothing for the weather and hi-vis if possible
- Money/credit card for cafe stop
- A spare inner tube, tyre levers and pump in case of a puncture.

Please message the ride leader if you have any concerns. Remember to cancel your place if your plans change so that another rider can join us. Everyone is welcome!
