Wilpshire Shorty

When we started our group, we began with these short rides in an attempt to give riders confidence riding on roads and build fitness. Starting from Roe Lee it's a very gentle ride up through Brownhill and up past the Wilpshire Hotel, and returning via Knowsley Road, up to Pleckgate School, through to the Hare and Hounds and Lammack, up to the Royal Oak and back to our start point Only 5 months later 12 cyclists rode for 4 days on the Coast 2 Coast, from Whitehaven to Sunderland. An attempt at attracting families or cyclists who just want to step up their cycling. We welcome riders of all ages and abilities and through the year we have a full ride program. These rides along with slightly longer ones will be a regular feature throughout 2016 as we steadily build our fitness and agility. Warren is your ride leader tonight. www.busstopbikers.co.uk
