A pleasant leisurely bicycle led ride for all the family to enjoy.
Start and finish point WV13-2PW.

Plenty of car parking available, located on the left as you enter the main entrance off Pinson road (park location sign posted off Pinson road).
Toilet facilities available.

The bicycle ride starts at Willenhall Memorial Park passing through the Fibbersley Local Nature Reserve then onto Steel Parkway before joining a bicycle path which runs alongside the A4124 Wednesfield Way.

The ride then passes by Bentley Bridge before joining the 'Curly Wyrley' canal (NCR-81).
The journey passes through many scenic locations en route to the Birmingham Navigation Canal Junction.

A brief rest before turning about and heading back in, if we have time we can go and take a look at the newly installed Sikh Statue.

Then, hopefully a quick refreshment at the Well Lane café (optional) before heading back in to Willenhall Memorial Park (via Fibbersley Local Nature Reserve).

Here's hoping you shall join us for this initial led ride in a series of led rides created for you by the Handlebars & Saddles Community Cycling Club.

Mainly off road, following the Wednesfield Way bicycle path & the NCR-81 Canal Route. We will have to cross roads using pedestrian crossings where available and always supervised by available qualified led ride leaders.

Upon reaching the Horsley Fields (Birmingham canal junction) Canal Junction, a brief rest before turning about and heading back in, if we have time we can go and take a look at the newly installed Sikh Statue. Then maybe (if so desired) a coffee at the Well Lane Café who welcome cycle groups.

Wearing of bicycle helmets are compulsory due low hanging vegetation/light tree branches and some low canal bridges we have to pass beneath. A spare inner tube (suitable for the bicycle you are using). A drinks container. A lightweight shower proof jacket. A puncture repair outfit. Money for refreshments.

We never leave anyone behind
