Wigan to Worsley Return

This weeks ride we take the canalways from Wigan to Worsley (please note there is a section of cobbles around Wigan Pier and a possibility of a short section of muddy terrain around Astley )
and then take a route up the old Loop Line to the A580 where we take the nice smooth cycle path back to Astley . We will have a snack at The Old Boathouse , before taking the canal back through Leigh into Wigan . Winstanleys bikes will be open , so if anyone needs any bits or a new bike , its well worth a nosey . We will ride to suit the slowest rider but don't forget this ride is almost 35 miles in total .
Please make sure you check your bike over the day before , and carry a couple of spare innertubes and a means to pump them up in case of any punctures .
