Not cycled for a while and looking for an easy way to get back in the saddle? Fancy a fun way to get your friends riding? Our Easygoing rides are great for building confidence for all abilities and ages along relaxed, mostly traffic-free routes. They're up to six miles long, with a gentle pace of around six miles an hour. Above all, they'r e fun, and a great way to meet people. Don't worry if you don't own a bike, we'll lend you one for free! Starting off at the old White House Inn, now a hub of Free Wheel North, at the top of Maryhill Lochs (Lock 21), we cycle along the Forth & Clyde Canal east towards the city centre. On the way we'll pass Firhill Stadium home to the "Jags", then onwards some fantastic views across Glasgow are offered before we reach Applecross Wharf and the Whisky Bond. From there it's only a short ride to our halfway point at Spiers Wharf, after a wee rest we'll head back towards Maryhill Lochs. Hopefully, we'll find a refreshment stop at Speir's Wharf.
