Whitehaven - City Streets & Park Life - 6 miler

Not cycled for a while and looking for an easy way to get back in the saddle? Fancy a fun way to get your friends or kids riding? Our Easygoing rides are great for building confidence for all abilities and ages along relaxed, mostly traffic-free routes. They’re up to six miles long, with a gentle pace of around six miles an hour. Join us for this lovely journey along the Old railway line from the edge of Mirehouse to Cleator Moor. Various sculptures and signs of the old railway line litter this route making it a visually spectacular ride, not to mention the beautiful views onto the western fells as you gently pass Moor Row.  This route is used by thousands of cyclists every year who take part in the Coast To Coast bike ride. With a nice tarmac traffic free path and a steady climb to Cleator Moor this route is rewarded with a very easygoing descent back into Whitehaven.  Perfect for families and anybody who want a low key ride but high impact views!
