Wheel Do It! with Full Gas - Rapha 500 (5): Emley Moor

For the fifth day of the Rapha Festive 500 challenge, here is a 42 mile ride that takes us from Full Gas Bikes at Fox Valley, Stocksbridge through Thurgoland, Silkstone and Cawthorne to the Emley Moor transmitter. From there we head southwest towards Dunford Bridge before returning to Full Gas via Penistone. There are some moderate hills on this route, but as usual we'll take our time and ride at the pace of the slowest. No-one gets left behind! Don't forget to bring food to fuel your ride and something to drink. IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR PARTICIPANTS We recommend that you wear a helmet. Please make sure you wear appropriate clothing for the weather. As usual we do expect you to have ensured your bike is roadworthy and that you have carried out basic pre-ride checks; we recommend that you also carry at least one spare inner tube, a pump (CO2 inflators are also highly recommended). If you have a mechanical problem we will do our best to assist you and/or lend you an inner tube or repair kit if we can, but it is always best to be self-reliant. Don’t forget to bring money for refreshments and a mobile phone.
