Wheel Do It! with Full Gas Bikes

To coincide with the opening of Full Gas Bikes, the new concept bike store in Stocksbridge, we’ve planned a stunning circular ride that takes in some of the leafy lanes and rolling hills nearby. We'll set off through Deepcar and along the pretty banks of the River Don before climbing up to Thurgoland and into the attractive countryside beyond. We'll then drop down Underbank Lane and return to Full Gas Bikes, where we will be treated to tea or coffee and cake or biscuits in the club gallery, which will give us a good view of the shop floor. Although there is some climbing in this ride, we’ll take it steady and stop for breathers whenever we need to. If you need to take it slow, that is fine – we won’t leave anyone behind. IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR PARTICIPANTS We recommend that you wear a helmet. Please make sure you wear appropriate clothing for the weather. As usual we do expect you to have ensured your bike is roadworthy and that you have carried out basic pre-ride checks; you should also carry at least one spare inner tube, a pump, and tools to enable you to change a tube if necessary. We do not profess to be trained ride leaders but do have experience of doing so.
