Wheel Do It! - Up to High Bradfield and Agden Dike then down Dale Road (with Betty-Ann)

This is the fourth ride in a series of five, building up to a circuit of Strines. We start with a steady climb up Loxley Road before passing Damflask reservoir and up another long steady hill to High Bradfield. From there we'll continue across the moors where we can enjoy some lovely views before turning left on to Mortimer Road and down a hill before tackling the short, steep climb of Agden Dike. We then have some mainly flat roads with more stunning views before we drop down Dale Road to Low Bradfield, where we can enjoy a well earned coffee and cake at the Flask End cafe. After that we're on our way home, with an easy and mostly flat ride back to the start. Although there are hills to climb, we'll take them steady and stop for breathers if we need to. It is fine to walk up the steeper bits if necessary - we never leave anyone behind. IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR PARTICIPANTS We recommend that you wear a helmet. Please make sure you wear appropriate clothing for the weather. As usual we do expect you to have ensured your bike is roadworthy and that you have carried out basic pre-ride checks; we recommend that you also carry at least one spare inner tube, a pump (CO2 inflators are also highly recommended). If you have a mechanical problem we will do our best to assist you and/or lend you an inner tube or repair kit if we can, but it is always best to be self-reliant. Don’t forget to bring money for refreshments and a mobile phone.
