Starting point

S6 4TD

Start of Loxley Road at the bus stop immediately after the pedestrian crossing/traffic lights.

This regular night-time ride will begin by heading up Loxley Road to Damflask and Low Bradfield. We'll decide on the exact route on the night, depending on the weather, and will usually plan to head up onto Strines Moor for a stop at the Strines Inn. The ride will usually be about 20 miles, but may be shortened if the weather is not good. We'll decide the exact route on the night, depending on the weather. As this is a night-ride, you'll need good quality lights and ideally spare lights (or at least spare batteries). We also recommend wearing something reflective. IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR PARTICIPANTS We recommend that you wear a helmet. Please make sure you wear appropriate clothing for the weather. As usual we do expect you to have ensured your bike is roadworthy and that you have carried out basic pre-ride checks; you should also carry at least one spare inner tube, a pump, and tools to enable you to change a tube if necessary. Don’t forget to bring money for refreshments and a mobile phone. DISCLAIMER This is a purely social group of like-minded people sharing a love of cycling, it is not a formal organisation nor does it have any form of legal structure. You are free to choose to ride with us but in doing so please note that you do so in acceptance that this is entirely at your own risk.
