This ride starts from the Trek Store (formerly Full Gas Bikes) at Fox Valley, Stocksbridge and heads out through Deepcar into lovely country lanes that take us up through Thurgoland and on to Hood Green, Silkstone Common, Silkstone and Cawthorne. From there we swing around to the west and continue past Ingbirchworth Reservoir before turning southeast through Millhouse Green and on up to Snowden Hill. After a few more miles we find ourselves at the top of Pea Royd Lane, which drops steeply downhill back into Fox Valley and a welcome opportunity for refreshments at Cafe Gen next to the Trek Store. After refreshments, anyone who wants to can join a ride from the Trek Store to Loxley Road, Malin Bridge via Bolsterstone and Wigtwizzle (this supplementary ride will leave from Trek at approximately 1:30 to 2:00pm - departure time will depend on the time of completion of the main ride).
