Wheel Do It! from the Trek Store to Thurgoland (with BA)

Starting from the Trek Store (formerly Full Gas Bikes) at Fox Valley, Stocksbridge, here is another chance to try out this great route. We set off to Deepcar and then past Wortley Top Forge through the lanes and up a hill to Thurgoland. From there we swing around to Oxspring and climb up on to Green Moor. We then have a descent back down to Wortley Top Forge and return via Deepcar back to Trek and Cafe Gen for welcome refreshments. There are some hills on this ride, but nothing we can't manage! As always, we'll stop for breathers if we need to and no-one will get left behind!
After refreshments, anyone who wants to can join a ride from the Trek Store to Loxley Road, Malin Bridge via Bolsterstone and Wigtwizzle (this 13 mile supplementary ride will leave from Trek at approximately 12:30pm - departure time will depend on the time of completion of the main ride).
IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR PARTICIPANTS
We recommend that all participants wear a helmet. Please make sure you wear appropriate clothing for the weather.
As usual we do expect you to have ensured your bike is roadworthy and that you have carried out basic pre-ride checks; we recommend that you also carry at least one spare inner tube, a pump (CO2 inflators are also highly recommended). It is also a good idea to carry a spare chain link that matches your bike’s chain (e.g. 9, 10 or 11 speed). If you have a mechanical problem we will do our best to assist you and/or lend you an inner tube or repair kit if we can, but it is always best to be self-reliant. Don’t forget to bring money for refreshments and a mobile phone.
