About the route
Come with us for an easy family ride to Wheathampstead Village Day. Apart from a short section on road through Ayot Green, the route is entirely traffic free and very suitable for children. Also as the route takes in a long section of the former Luton Branch railway, there are very few hills! (You can walk up these if you wish). At the village day there will be lots to interest young and old, including stalls, events in the arena, a fun fair and of course the carnival. We plan to leave Wheathampstead between 15:00 and 16:00, but you can stay as long as you wish.
