Whalley Winter Wonderland

This will be a lovely ride from Whalley travelling through the nearby picturesque villages. From Whalley we'll head up to Pendleton and down to Clitheroe. From there on to Waddington, Grindleton, Bolton by Bowland & round to Gisburn. Then on to Rimington, Downham, Barrow & back to Whalley. We'll stop for tea & cake in one of these idyllic villages. This ride will be a great opportunity to appreciate the village's decorations for Xmas & the New Year. We'll ride at a steady pace of 10-12 mph on this ride. There are some ups & downs but nothing too steep and We'll keep our pace at a level so that we can all stay together & have our first decent ride of the New Year. It would be great to have some new & some familiar faces on this ride, you're all welcome & I look forward to riding with you. I'm a SkyRide Ride Leader leading guided rides & I'm also a trained route planner - I enjoy my cycling & appreciate it even more when I have people to ride with.
