Westport Lake Loop

Come and join us for a picturesque cycle around Westport Lake before we head off along the local cycle paths to Festival Park before heading back along the Trent and Mersey canal. 10.15am meet for a prompt 10.30am departure. Meet up outside the visitors centre. The ride is suited to ladies who want to progress from beginners and build up stamina but all are welcome. There is a small section that we will need to dismount and walk across roads which gives everyone opportunity to stretch the legs. Bring some pocket money and enjoy a nice coffee, cake and chat at the end of the ride.  Please ensure your bike is in good working order, tyres are pumped, spare inner tube at the ready and don’t forget the helmet.Some of the surfaces are slightly on the rough side so chunkier tyres are a suggestion . Please only book on if can commit to attending the ride as limited spaces!
