This is a very nice almost entirely flat ride around a few of the local villages. After leaving Mawdesley, we take in Eccleston, Leyland, Midge Hall and touch on Bretherton before a welcome fuel stop at the Twin Lakes Velo Cafe on the fringe of Croston.
Our return journey takes us through Ulnes Walton, Croston, Holmeswood and Rufford as we finish back at the village hall in Mawdesley.
Please ensure that you check that your bike is in a fit condition to complete this ride the night before - tyres, brakes, lights, drive chain etc. and have the basic tools required to sort out a puncture with a couple of spare tubes as well.
Please also make sure you are ready to ride 15 minutes before the published start time.
