Meeting at Mini Meadows Farm in Welford NN6 6HZ. There are toilets and an indoor cafe at Mini Meadows. You do not need to buy a pre-booked ticket to enter the premises but please use the hand sanitiser provided and wear a face mask should you need to use the facilities.
Please arrive in plenty of time to get you and your bike ready as we will gather for a quick briefing and to do a bike check at approx 9.45am. We will start riding our bicycles at 10am.
Leisurely ride out around the local area, taking in some pretty countryside on our way. There are some lumps and bumps but we will stick together and get up them one way or another.
You will be riding under the guidance of a British Cycling trained Breeze Champion in a group of no more than 6 riders. Our rides are for all - we ride together at a pace that suits everyone and no one is ever left behind. We will pause to catch our breath as needed.
You do not need to wear lycra or ride a fancy bike (although it does need to be road worthy and with pumped up tyres). Wear clothes and shoes that you are comfortable in. You need to bring with you a helmet, a spare inner tube (that fits your bicycle), a big smile and lights (for safety) if you have them. A bottle of water is also a good idea.
These rides will be run in accordance to the current COVID19 Government and BC Guidelines. A mask is not a requirement of the ride but please ensure you have one in case it is needed, we will keep a 1m+ distance from one and other.
Loaded initially as a generic ride series through to Christmas, the routes we will ride each week will vary in length between 10 and 15 miles and will be decided in the week leading up to the Sunday ride. The ride leader will contact you via the Conversation tab on Let's Ride or directly via message to confirm this. The rides will include a refreshment stop - either en route or at Mini Meadows at the end of our ride.
