West Coast Cruise from Egremont

Join us for a leisurely cruise from Egremont out to and along the coast. The route starts from Egremont at Chapel Street Car Park (This is the large car park behind Herons and the conservative club and is opposite the fire station) The car park is pay and display parking (£1.40 for 4 hours) and there are public toilets available. From Egremont we will work our way towards St Bees via quiet B roads. We’ll then follow the coast southwards along quiet minor roads. The views along the coast here can be stunning, equally are the views towards the western Lake District fells, we have it all here. We'll return to Egremont on Hadrian’s Cycleway.  This ride is perfect for all abilities; the route is all on good tarmac surfaces and is suitable for all bicycle types. We will always ride at the pace of the slowest rider so no one is left behind. Our priorities are coffee, cake and fun and we always welcome newcomers to our rides. Remember to layer with clothes you are comfortable cycling in, a water proof jacket is advisable; bring a bottle of water and a snack. We always recommend a well fitting helmet.
