We're Searching For Our Roots! As part of our Next Generation Ride Leader Programme we have another new ride from one of our new Ride Leaders. Stephen Cooper has created this ride with the help of his wife Kaz & he's really looking forward to taking us all round it. From our familiar starting point at Billington we'll head out to Ribchester & Longridge, Inglewhitw, Bilsborrow & Catforth where we'll turn & go to Roots Café for lunch. After a lovely vanilla slice, always assuming Ian didn't get there first, we'll make our way back via Broughton & Whittingham. It'll be a lovely ride with a few lumpy bits! We'll ride at a steady pace of 11-12 mph on this ride and we'll keep our pace at a level so that we can all stay together & have a really pleasant ride. There are some lumps that you'll do at your own pace & we can reform at the top. Please check your bike over the night before the ride, tyres inflated, all bolts tight, lubricated. Clothing, Helmet & lights checked & ready. Please aim to be ready to ride 15 mins before the ride start time, getting away on time is good for everyone. It would be great to have some new & some familiar faces on this ride, you're all welcome & I look forward to riding with you. I'm a SkyRide Ride Leader leading guided rides & I'm also a trained route planner - I enjoy my cycling & appreciate it even more when I have people to ride with.
