Starting from - Please meet by the bike racks near the entrance to Wellington Health & Fitness Centre - The car park is free but PLEASE NOTE it is accessed via Wellington Business Park, NOT the main Wellington College gates. Please aim to be there a few minutes before 9.15.
If joining us at FBC - we will meet you outside the front entrance to the building at approx. 9.40 - 9.45, RG45 7PT
Free, women-only bike rides led by experienced Breeze Champions. They are a great way to get started in cycling or to improve your skills, whether you are a beginner or a seasoned cyclist.

This is a fairly easy 23 mile route from Wellington Health & Fitness Club (Crowthorne) to Wellington Farm Shop (Riseley) - OR if you would prefer a shorter, even easier route of 17 miles return - you could join us at the FBC centre, Finchampstead, RG40 4ES - We will be leaving FBC at 9.45am. The route is all on roads or cycleways, avoiding the muddy off-road tracks through the forest and there are only a couple of hills, which are not too long or steep. Leaving Crowthorne at 9.15, we will head along Heath Ride to the FBC centre, follow the greenway to California Country park, then ride on quiet roads and some pretty country lanes via Farley Hill to Swallowfield and Riseley. Our coffee stop is after 11 miles (or 8 miles if you've ridden from FBC!) at the popular Wellington Farm shop on the Stratfield Saye estate. We will then return on some different lanes (and a short section on a busier road) passing Henry Street Garden centre, to Arborfield and finally back on cycleways to Finchampstead. We won't go too fast and will stop for photos/drinks, etc. - so anyone is welcome, even if you haven't cycled much lately.
All the route is on cycleways or tarmac roads, so any type of bike is suitable. Please check your bike before you come out - especially air in your tyres, both brakes working and chain oiled. You should please bring a spare inner tube suitable for your wheel size and a bike lock if you have one. You must please wear a cycle helmet and clothing suitable for the weather. Also bring with you: a bottle of water and card or cash for payment at the cafe.
