About the route
Parking at Wellington Country Park, post code RG7 1SP. In November the park is closed but can free park outside the entrance without blocking it.
Lovely 23 mile rural ride out from the Country Park, mainly along quiet lanes taking in the villages of Mortimer, Silchester ( site of the Roman Silchester amphitheatre), Bramley and Stratefield Saye before looping back to the park.
