We'll be there in a flash or two!!

This is a favourite ride which everyone seems to enjoy. Starting at Leigh College car park and using the canal towpath, cycle trails and quiet estate roads for approximately 16 miles and taking in one or two of Wigan's Flashes. If there has been a lot of rain recently there could be some muddy puddles on the route to add to the fun!! It might be advisable to wear waterproofs. We will stop for refreshments and a chat so please bring along some money. We always go to the pace of the slowest and are not too proud to push up any inclines if necessary. There will be plenty of rest stops and time to chat!! It's advisable to bring along a drink and a spare inner tube just in case (if you don’t have one don’t let this stop you from taking part). Also please wear a helmet and make sure you have suitable clothing.
