Weekend Rides - Durham circular via Derwent walk

Starting at Bike hub we head to N. Shields to catch ferry then along the coast to Sunderland. Pick up any riders at Roker then thro the back streets to Ryhope to pick up again NCN1. Leaving cycle route at Seaton we head for NCN72 (W2W) passing thro Hetton, Pittington & onward to Durham for refreshments. Leaving Durham head for the Lanchester way up to Consett then onward down the Derwent Walk & back into Newcastle. Prompt start please to catch 10am ferry. Riders joining at Roker be at Bungalow cafe at 10:45. This ride is NOT suitable for road bikes. Helmets to be worn, bring spare inner tube plus at least 1ltr of liquid to drink.
