There is a parking layby on Broom Lane outside the Homestead Pub, its free and is about 100yards from this junction. S60 2RQ

A nice way to see some of the lovely countryside in this area. We will be riding mostly off road on unmade surfaces which will vary between dirt gravel shale and a bit of tarmac.

A circular ride out to Clumber & back. Going via Aughton, Harthill, Creswell, Norton, Beech Gap, and coming back via Welbeck, Shirebrook, Lindrick Dale, Alston Woods, Todwick, Ulley, Whiston.

As much OFF ROAD as is possible, including, dirt tracks through fields and woods, gravel trails, a few tarmac lanes, and a bit of residential streets.

Wear a helmet and suitable riding gear for the weather and the rough terrain. Always bring some means to repair a flat tyre and reinflate it. Cash and card for coffee stops.

First timers are welcome, BUT, you must be a competent rider and be able to average 10mph over this distance & terrain. We will have a lift over a stile on this route so you must be able to LIFT YOUR BIKE yourself.
