Starting point

Salt Ayre Leisure Centre, Salt Ayre Lane

Lancaster
Lancashire
LA1 5JS

Lancaster

A gentle almost totally flat route from the heart of the city of Lancaster, along the river Lune estuary to the historic Glasson Dock. Passing along the disused railway line trackbed you will travel through green wooded areas to emerge at Conder Green where the salt marshes hold a variety of bird life as well as long forgotten boat hulls. We will then return along Lancaster Canal. This path will be grassy, maybe wet and maybe a little muddy (depending on the weather) it is very picturesque with views over local countryside passing through woodland areas.
