Wednesday Wheelabout - Birchwood to the Pyewipe

Birchwood to the Pyewipe (loop) – Ride Description Starting from the Birchwood Leisure Centre, the Birchwood to Pyewipe loop will be a steady ride of about 8 ½ miles on a mix of roads, paths and cycle tracks. We have the option to stop for refreshments at the Pyewipe Inn which is just over half way, so please bring some money if you want to buy refreshments. The start time is the time that we’ll leave, so try and be a few minutes early, especially if it is your first time on the ride. There is car parking available (although this is limited) at the leisure centre. It's a good idea to bring some water, especially if it's warm, as well as a puncture repair kit/spare inner tube for your bike. Wearing a helmet is advisable; if you don’t have one please do not to worry you can still take part.  If you enjoy the bike ride and would like to come again perhaps you could look to buy one then. Please ensure a mobile number is provided in case the ride is cancelled due to inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances. In case you're worried, nobody will get left behind, as we always ride at the pace of the slowest riders.
