Wednesday Ride 19th September

Come and join our friendly and welcoming group for a great ride to Digbeth this Wednesday evening :) Email: [email protected] to receive our weekly rides email. Meet : from 7:15pm at Midlands Arts Centre, Cannon Hill Park, Edgbaston B12 9QH (By the tables and seats next to the back doors of the MAC). Set off : 7:30pm Destination: The Spotted Dog http://www.spotteddog.co.uk/ Route: 5-7 miles approximately there from MAC via the City Centre, Jewellery Quarter, Aston University Campus along side roads, paths and possibly a short section of lit brick paved towpath. Railway Stations: The nearest stations to the destination are Moor St and New St in the City Centre. Train times back: See National Rail Enquiries for full details: http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/ Bring Lights, a lock, some water, a spare inner tube, tyre levers and a pump. It is worth bringing some extra layers of clothing with you as the temperature can drop after sunset and some water proofs in case of rain. It is also worth bringing a bag in case you get warm and need to remove your jacket and to store items in. We normally stay at the destination until around 10:20 – 11:15pm. We will try and pair you up with members of the group for your return journey home were possible, as we all live in different directions. For example a number of the women riders cycle towards home together. It is fine to return back home as soon as we arrive at the destination if you need to be home earlier.
