Come and join our friendly and welcoming group for a great ride to Kings Heath this Wednesday evening :) Have you joined the CycleBirmingham facebook group yet? Set off : 7:30pm Destination: Kings Heath - The Red Lion - Food Available http://www.emberinns.co.uk/theredlionkingsheath/ Route: A loop via sideroads, paths and parks. Wed 31st Oct. Halloween Ride – via a cemetery or two! Wear fancy dress and raise a bit of money! ;) Railway Stations: The nearest station to the destination is Bournville. Train times back: See National Rail Enquiries for full details: http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/ Bring Lights, a lock, some water, a spare inner tube, tyre levers and a pump. It is worth bringing some extra layers of clothing and gloves with you as the temperature can drop after sunset and some water proofs in case of rain. It is also worth bringing a bag in case you get warm and need to remove your jacket and to store items in. We normally stay at the destination until around 10:20 – 11:15pm. We will try and pair you up with members of the group for your return journey home were possible, as we all live in different directions. For example a number of the women riders cycle towards home together. It is fine to return back home as soon as we arrive at the destination if you need to be home earlier.
