WCH Breeze to The Tea Room at Bricket Wood Station

This is a STEADY PLUS 14 mile ride at 8-10 mph but we will always wait to ensure everyone stays together.

This route goes to the pretty Tea Room at Bricket Wood Station. Toilets are available on site here, as well as a wide selection of home made cakes, hot and cold drinks and friendly service. We can also pre-order veggie or meat sausage rolls in advance to be hot and ready for when we arrive.

A mixture of on-road and offroad, using tarmac cycleways and shared paths. It is suitable for all bikes although road bikes with slick tyres are not advised due to some uneven and slippery surfaces we will go through. Hybrid, MTB, gravel and e-bikes are all suitable.

Please bring a good bike lock as the bike parking is on the station platform, just out of view of the cafe.

On the way back please note we do have to cross one busy road via an overbridge so if you have a fear of heights or bridges please don't book on as there is no safe crossing point at ground level. Contact the Ride Leader if you have any questions.

Please dress appropriately for the weather and wear a helmet as the route goes through some bumpy terrain. Don't forget a drink and a snack, a spare inner tube or two, and some cash or a card for the cafe stop and in case of emergency.

Facilities are available in the Cycle Hub before and after the ride, should you need any additional refreshments or bike maintenance.

This is easily accessible from Watford Town Centre and Garston, using the Ebury Way Cycle Route 6/61- a fantastic traffic-free route for bikes!
