WCH Beginner Breeze Through Winter

The distance covered will be from 2 miles upto a maximum of 4 miles only on this beginner ride. If you have any questions or are nervous, please drop me a message.
You will need a working bike in order to attend this ride though it will also be possible to hire a Beryl bike from the Beryl stand based outside Watford Cycle Hub.
If you haven't used your bike for a while please have it checked it advance, Watford Cycle Hub operate a pre booking service system via the website.


Start your New Year in gear by joining British Cycling 2024 winter cycling challenge!

The ultimate winter cycling adventure will help you conquer the cold and beat the winter blues. The challenge will run from Sunday 7th January to Sunday 31st March. All you need to do is join four Guided, Breeze or Community Group rides to complete the challenge.

As you ride through the winter landscape, you'll have a chance to win fantastic prizes

This ride is for those who may have recently learnt to ride or looking to return to cycling.after a break. It is for BEGINNERS ONLY who can balance and pedal independently on their bikes. We will be cycling on the pathways at KGV playing fields and possibly along The Ebury Way

All the route is traffic free

If participants require a 'breather' we will stop as required.

Please bring water to drink and if cold a hat and gloves are advisable along with a helmet. Money for refeshments which will be available to purchase afterwards in the Cycle Hub cafe
