Watford Cycle Hub Social Rides: Whelpley Hill Paced to Average 11-12 mph over the Route

A gorgeous circular ride out from Watford Cycle Hub along some of the prettiest lanes around Loudwater, Sarratt, Flaunden, & Ley Hill. Within just a couple of miles you will be in beautiful countryside taking in views of local villages. The 28 mile route is mainly on roads so road bikes are recommended. Perfect for a challenge and a blast of fresh air! This time around, Georgia is leading the ride for Watford Cycle Hub, and will pace it to average 11-12 mph over the route, provided the conditions on the day are not prohibitive to this. The route is on the verge of the Chilterns so the topography is rolling, moderate hills, with 243 meters of climbing in total for this route. We can also run our 20-30 mile rides in different pace categories so do msg us if you'd like to do this route at a different pace setting and we'll see what we can do. : ) Please bring: Two spare inner tubes - we do sell new (£4-6 each) and refurbished ones (50p - £1 each) at the Hub if you don't have spares) Money if you want to buy a drink / snack at the cafe / pub stop en route I look forward to riding with you on Sunday 15th January! : ) Georgia
