WATFORD CYCLE HUB: MOSEY TO THE LP CAFE - FAMILY FRIENDLY RIDE!!

This is an Easygoing, Family Friendly, and almost entirely traffic-free route meandering along the Ebury Way from Watford Cycle Hub to Watford High Street and then using the cycle routes & shared space to reach the LP Cafe. We like this cafe & think it's a little gem you should know about to have in your repertoire of places to retreat to on your bicycle. :)

This is a ride for everyone! :) Beginners are welcome as is anyone who wants a leisurely ride for coffee, cake & company. :) For people wanting to discover how to get around Watford via the local cycle routes - this one's very much for you. Families with children too are warmly welcome to come on this ride. :)

There is a short section on road at the bottom of Watford High Street but your Ride Leaders will be keeping you all safe. :)

There is also a modest 60 metres of climbing on this route, which will help you practice using your gears.

Please bring a spare inner tube in case of a puncture - as it's easier to change an inner tube than repair a puncture. Watford Cycle Hub sell inner tubes from £4.50 new should you need to purchase one.

Please check your bike is in good working order before the ride - especially that your brakes are working & your tyres are pumped and wear clothing suitable for the weather conditions and perhaps a backpack so you can put on or take off layers as needed. Also bring some money for our cafe stop if you would like to buy a drink, snack or light lunch.

Watford Cycle Hub can check over your bike and we can pump up your tyres for you if you come in good time before the ride. If your bike might need a little more TLC or hasn't been ridden for a while, you can always bring it in for a free assessment. Watford Cycle Hub are a Not-For-Profit, Community Enterprise and promise to give you an honest price if your bike needs fixing, fine tuning or a full service. :)
